It takes a while to realise that life isn't straight
Why won't you fly.
suddenly i vanished
and i wonder if people noticed.

I tend to be slow at realising things, but i will figure it out anyway. I sometimes doubt the true intention of our existence on earth but i will naturally give up thinking. I will be happy if i see you smile so do smile more. :)

china (Friday, June 18, 2010 / 3:59 AM)

bah, i feel like i keep doing things halfway. Its like never done! :( Todays guzheng was not bad cause i managed to bei the whole song and lian xi was okay too. My homework is still untouched. First week was booked by psltc and humanities camp. Second week was booked by china trip. actually i feel like these are only excuses i give myself buc come on, let me be satisfied with this horrible lie. lol.

China trip was a total waste of my time. My sisters and i were totally sianed out. haiis, all thanks to the decision made to buy the cheaper package. My group mainly consist of well, older people and dun really like to play. Therefore, all they do is endless walkings admiring and stoning. When we actually reach our sight seeing location, they are all spoiltsports who just laze around the front and dont really bother to go in and take pictures. Everytime, its like this and my family had to worry about wasting their time while we whisk away taking pics. My travel group also dont shop much, well partly because the package did not include shopping. But whenever my mum stops at a nearby shop to take a look around, i would have to hurry her as we could not keep the group waiting. I know that din make my mum happy.

On day two,we went to the hot springs. I thought it was really cool as it reminded me of spirited away. The waters were set at about 38 degrees, really comfortable. I went into some coconut milk thingy and red wine. Not bad. Soon after, my sisters and i went back to the girls bathroom and bathed. The girls/women there are really daring. Everyone just strip and bathe infront of everyone, change infront of everyone naked. like srly, i could see everything. O.O The bath was horrible. The doors mainly onlt covers your torso and shows your legs and shoulders. For a tall person like me, hahahah! I had a great bath though, clean and refreshing. :D my mum went for a full body massage then while my sisers and my papa went to sit on the bench snaking on rasins. it was weird, knowing how hungry i was after some hot bath. We waited and waited. Soon, our travel group started filing in except for my mum O.O It was a long wait. However only because everyone arrived early. Basically, the meeting time was 8.30 but my mum only arrived at 8.45. The rest of us arrived at 7.50. My whole travel group was pissed and we bowed an apology to them. It was really embaressing for everyone but it was okay. :)

We went to shen zhen's '世界之窗' which had art peices specially made with people coming all over the globe. Singapore's was a merlion and it looked pathetic. -.- The weather was horrible with the sun glaring at you angrily from above. Everyone was really jumpy and cranky. The tourguid just walked endlessly on and on and din bother to stop at ANY of the attractions. Well, except for the 4D movie. <3 It was so boring and such a waste of our money. The entrance ticket was $53 for goodness sake, at least let us have some fun! But no-.- Anyws, two really cute and nice really old uncles age 74 and 76 told my family that everyone was conned by the tour guide. The entrance fee was supposed to be about about $20+ dollars! He conned us about 100% of our money! O.O I was really angry and want3ed to become a 'detective' to blow his cover. hahaha, but it din work out in the end of course! At last, my parents decided to let us have some fun so she requested the tour guide to let us go into the snow world! It was -10 degrees inside and i was wering shorts and a really thin jacket! It was SOOOO COOOL!!It rocked like crazy. We sat on the round balloon like thin and slid down the snow at a really high speed! It was really heart racing and the wond which hit every part of my body was frosty but AWESOME! omg i really enjoyed it. Sadly, we din want to keep out travel group waiting therefore we left to meet them.

The casino in Macau was not all that. Although the food there was superb. After all the days in china eating oily food really made us enjoy casino food. :D It was a buffet and people from china just grabbed. They pushed and pushed, stacked their plates high with food. Then suddenly, i heard excuse me and thank you. I immediately spun around to see who that good mannered guy was before i realised it was just another fellow singaporean. haiis. I am not being racist or anything here but... The theory i came up with: "They lost too much money, cut them some slacks and let them eat their well deserved food for goodness sake!"

China allows their people to smoke anywhere any time. Even in air conditioned shopping malls and restaurants. I really wish i could just stand up and tell them to get away from me. the smell was unbearable but we still had to endure it.

The hotels were sad too. :( there was hardly any lights at all, all very dim. They say it is purely saving the environment but i am starting to doubt that maybe it was just you know, bad service. lol. But the hotels were okay, yeah they were the best bits at least.

Oh here is the coolest bit. In hong kong, i passed by a school while in a taxi on the way to nu ren jie. It was called
'SCHOOL OF THE PRECIOUS BLOODS'
. hahahah! If i ever move home, i will definitely enroll myself in that cool school! oh, hong knog and china's cars are really cheap therefore many people are able to afford them. The 'MTRs' as what they call it are really empty. hahaha, no packed sardines!! Reminds me of Japan, that push! push! hahha.

I shall not elaborate on hong kong disneyland. Oh my family broke free from the group and their sight seeing to be able to go to disneyland! hahah, my first time. :D

I should get started on my homework...
